Best use for iPad yet
World’s best cookbook. Get a recipe up on-screen, or even better, your Jamie video and put it right there on the kitchen bench. Perfect. I don’t have this fancy stand but the normal black Apple stand does a nice job anyway. Not wanting to sound totally ridiculous, but can almost see the point of having one built into your fridge door!
Great feature in Safari
If you’re running the latest version of Safari, there’s a great hidden feature. If, like me, you read a lot of articles online, it can become quite hard work on the eyes.
Safari 5, when you navigate to a page it thinks contains a block of text that looks like an article, a ‘Reader’ button appears in the URL box on the far right next to the refresh arrow. You click it and up pops your article in big black type on a white background.
